Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
Following a longstanding British tradition, Harrow Shanghai kicks off the festive season with a tree lighting ceremony. Amidst the cheers and countdown of our young students, Mr. Alex Reed, the Headmaster of Harrow Shanghai, Dr Rosanna Wong, Chairman of Asia International Schools Limited, and Ms Valerie Chiu, Executive Director of AISL Academy, AISL Mall and AISL Outdoor, joined two primary school students by the Christmas tree. They adorned the Harrow lion with a Harrow hat and lit the Christmas tree. Accompanied by the Christmas carols of Upper School choir, the Christmas season at Harrow Shanghai officially began.
“Friends of Harrow” Christmas Crafts
The “Friends of Harrow” event is a regular community initiative at Harrow. This time, we invited Harrow parents to make their own Harrow Christmas scented candles to take home. This unique coffee-shaped design not only adds creativity but also brings Harrow’s warmth to the chilly winter days.
Creative Christmas Bauble Decorating Competition
Our younger Harrovians (Lower School) can take part in an enjoyable Christmas bauble decorating competition. Students can showcase their creativity on the baubles with a Harrow theme, incorporating Harrow core values of Courage, Fellowship, Honor, and Humility.
Pre-Prep Winter Ensemble Concert
Our Pre-Prep school students, full of courage and enthusiasm, will present a Christmas carol concert. The angelic voices of children immerse us in the warmth of the winter season. For many, it’s their first time performing in front of their parents and teachers, and their bravery deserves a big round of applause.
Upper School Winter Ensemble Concert
The Upper School students will showcase their talents at the Christmas Winter Concert. From band performances to professional orchestral music and choir shows, they’ll perfectly blend music with the festive spirit.
Harrow Christmas Fair
On December 15th, the school will host its annual Christmas Fair. Students and parents are invited to join, wearing Christmas jumpers and enjoying various exciting activities prepared by the Harrow Student Council. Let’s all enjoy this Christmas festivity together!
